Patrick is currently the CAO at 7 Brew Coffee. In this role, Patrick leverages his tenure within Corporate Finance and Accounting functions as well as his Big-4 public accounting experience across a number of industries, states and countries, to bring best-in-class practices to a highly functioning organization. He is relentlessly focused on enhancing and maintaining a strong set of internal controls over financial reporting as well as consistent operational enhancements which allow the company to continuously operate more efficiently and empower management with a better understanding of company performance at all times. His vision and leadership are focused on driving value through investments in human capital and technology that deliver and unlock strategic optionality to the Company’s employees and stakeholders. Preceding his role with 7 Brew, Patrick was an SVP at Hancock Whitney Bank where he served as the Director of various departments during his tenure including the Corporate Planning, Accounting Policy, Internal Reporting and Financial Controls Groups. He acted as the Chairman or Voting Member of several high-profile Management Committees with the objective of steering the strategic direction of the Bank with a focus on profitability of the Company and growth of the franchise while always maintaining a responsibility for shareholder interests. Prior to joining HWC, Patrick was a Senior Manager at PwC. He served clients in the restaurant/retail, chemicals, offshore drilling, industrial products, technology and entertainment industries working with SEC registrants and private companies. Patrick spent the majority of his career working with large, multinational audit clients and has extensive experience consulting on a multitude of topics ranging from SEC reporting, SOX 404, business combinations, debt and equity offerings as well as various other complex accounting and business matters.Patrick earned his Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration and a Masters of Accountancy from the University of Alabama. He began his career with PwC in Atlanta, GA, spent 2 years with PwC London, and ultimately repatriated with the firm to New Orleans in June of 2017. Patrick is a CPA in Georgia and Louisiana.Patrick has been actively involved with non-profit and charitable organizations throughout his career. He currently serves on the University of Alabama Culverhouse School of Business’s Board of Visitors, Clover New Orleans BoD (formerly Kingsley House) and volunteered for the Alzheimer’s Association for the past 20+ years.
