Developed, implemented, and oversaw new resourcing strategies for an IT team of 60+ people. This involved the creation and maintenance of a resourcing tracker designed to visualize the capacity of IT resources, allowing the PMO team and Business teams a stronger idea of accurate start dates for different efforts that rely on IT resources. Additionally, I ran bi-weekly resourcing meetings, facilitating conversation between the Business, PMO, IT teams to create a better under of project needs and to aid in slotting the correct resource for the needed roles.Other aspects of my role include writing, editing, and updating 100+ manuals and procedural guides for the IT division as a technical writer. I am responsible for the data collection and presentation of a monthly metrics report demonstrating IT's impact on the enterprise. As well, I revamped and ran the bi-monthly Town Halls for the division, designed to encourage more conversation between IT leadership and IT staff.I worked closely with the PMO team on a variety of efforts. Most notably, I served as a business analyst for a website redesign project from June 2021 - February 2022. In this role, I worked alongside the project manager to create and edit requirements documentation, review statements of work, monitor budget and expenses, and lead meetings with vendors and developers.

As an initial member of the Richmond Area Census Office (ACO), my job included setting the foundation for both the Administrative and IT departments to support future performance during field operations. This included writing over a dozen office process and procedure guides for future employees, including procedures for hiring, field work, IT support, software, and customer service. Additionally in this initial period, I oversaw the hiring of 1,000+ field operatives for the Richmond area.After the formal opening of the ACO in January 2020, my role switched to that of an IT supervisor. I was responsible for a team of 10+ IT help desk staff, including the onboarding and training for all staff members. In this role, I successfully improved help desk procedure to reduce end of day ticket volume to no more than three active tickets for a field team of 1,200+ employees. I also managed and troubleshooted an inventory of 1,600+ iOS devices for field and office staff.

Responsible for the grocery departments of two retail locations, including two separate teams of 20+ people. My day-to-day tasks included placing orders upward of $25,000 with large contract suppliers, conducting delivery audits to ensure inventory accuracy, and monitoring product shrinkage to reduce perishable waste by approximately 25%.My role also included training and onboarding new employees in the grocery division, as well as scheduling shifts for both of my teams. As a manager, I was responsible for scheduling and overseeing large quarterly inventory audits and handling the crediting process for inventory discrepancies .

Assisted in the admissions process by providing a preliminary look at student applications for the admissions officers and recruiting hundreds of prospective students. As part of recruitment, I interviewed dozens of potential scholarship candidates, planned monthly open houses/admissions events, and hosted weekly information sessions for visiting families. Further responsibilities included daily office tasks such as data entry, supply management, filing, meeting organization, and office schedule creation. In addition to this role, I was a tour guide for Randolph-Macon College, including Lead Guide during my last year of employment. I managed scheduling for a staff of 30+ tour guides, designed and implemented training for new guides, and represented the school at public events.
