I have helped author and execute numerous capital formation plans from start-ups to equity growth capital. My core skill-set is developing market intelligence to advise companies on growth initiatives and equity capital formation.My experience is in several industries at various points within the corporate life cycle. In particular, I have spent considerable time working on financial technology, medtech, healthtech, healthcare, energy and the metals / mining industries (and of course finance!). I reside in Eden Prairie, Minnesota (USA) with my wife Anne and three children. I actively give back to the community and believe in "paying-it-forward". These activities have taken different forms over the years with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, The Girls Club of Omaha and hundreds of hours and a few gallons of blood to the Red Cross. More recently, my community activities have primarily been with 1 Million Cups, Saint Thomas Academy, the Jesuit Partnership (Twin Cities), DesignWise Medical, Minneapolis Rotary, the CFA Society of MN and mentoring with the University of MN Carlson Enterprise Fund. My long-term interests for giving back to the community is to provide financial education to children and adults so they can be financially independent.
