I am a Professional Engineer based at Dewberry's Peoria, Illinois office.In my role as a Mechanical Engineer, I specialize in the assessment, design, and construction administration of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. My project portfolio encompasses a diverse range of sectors, including k-12 education, higher education, government facilities, correctional institutions, historic properties, military installations, and transportation hubs. My work regularly involves close collaboration with various disciplines, client interactions and contractor interfaces. I bring extensive experience in areas such as load and energy modeling, indoor air quality assessments, compliance with building codes, BIM (Building Information Modeling), and CADD (Computer-Aided Design and Drafting). I hold professional engineering licenses in both Illinois and Florida.As an active member of ASHRAE, I currently fulfil several leadership roles, including Membership Promotion Chair, Young Engineers in ASHRAE Chair, Social Media Editor, and Newsletter Editor for the Central Illinois Chapter. Additionally, I actively contribute to multiple technical committees within the organization.My commitment to professional development extends beyond my engineering career. I am also a graduate of the Leadership Springfield program, and I am proud to have served in the US Army, with a year-long deployment to Afghanistan as a part of my military service.
