Responsible for a team of twenty-two people that administers systems that are critical to the functionality of both member and employee facing systems. Provide direction and guidance to approximately twenty-five groups throughout Information Services on technologies that can better the organization. Member of the Datacenter Architecture Group that reviews projects and changes throughout the Credit Union.

Managed team that included Citrix, Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange. Created a new team that manages file transfer system that is used by various external entities to allow a secure means of file transfer that saved the Credit Union over $30,000 per month.

Supervised a team of four people that was responsible for Citrix, Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange systems. Oversaw the upgrade of over one thousand servers to newer versions and managed the projects to insure they were completed on time and without any issues. Worked to improve the reliability of all systems and improve the perception of these system.

Worked on the team responsible for the member facing banking system and maintained the member facing websites. Maintained 99.999% up-time on these systems to minimize the impact to the members and always insure systems were up and running. Used scripting knowledge to automate failover of systems and deployments of builds as needed. Worked to improve reliability and redundancy of systems

Help lead and organize the local Citrix User Group that enabled Citrix minded professionals to network and share information.

Owned a Kid to Kid franchise in Cary, North Carolina. Was responsible for all aspects of the business and the franchise. Responsibilities included payroll, scheduling, employee relations and customer relations.

Was a member of the National Consulting Team. Managed Citrix deployments and configurations for multiple Fortune 500 companies and was the Lead Consultant for all Citrix installs nationwide. Managed projects from start to finish for numerous companies that including overseeing a team of Administrators . Provided network administration support in both Novell and NT/Windows environments for Pomeroy clients. Obtained numerous certifications that were relevant to day to day job functions. Configured and troubleshooted network connectivity including hubs, routers, switches, and firewalls.

Serviced customer’s hardware that was brought in to our service depot. Was certified on Apple, HP, IBM and Compaq. Performed warranty repair, hardware fixes and software remediation as needed. Made house calls and service calls for customers as well as businesses

Performed computer service on both student and faculty machines. Also maintained computer labs that were on campus and made sure all PCs were running as designed.
