RelationalAI is a Series B startup that builds a cloud-native database for knowledge graphs, analytics, and semantic modeling. I was recruited by the CEO pre-Series A to initially lead a client engagement with a key client (tax consultancy), and after the success of that project I was promoted to manage two internal engineering teams and run our strategic partnership with Snowflake. In the initial client engagement, I served as principal architect, product manager, and client point person for delivery of a cloud-first, multi-tenant platform for tax professionals. I re-orged a 100-member team, hired new team members, and led delivery of an MVP that resulted in 20x growth in pilot clients and significant YoY revenue growth. In my current role I lead technical efforts for RelationalAI’s partnership with Snowflake that is the primary corporate initiative and the key revenue driver for 2024. While in this role I drove the build of the initial Snowflake product integration that enables Snowflake users to easily leverage RelationalAI’s knowledge graph capabilities. The product was launched at Snowflake Summit 2023 and featured in the keynote. I also manage relationships with Snowflake’s engineering team and coordinate efforts as needed.

MMI is an algorithmic trading startup in the cryptocurrencies and equities space. I joined as a direct report to MMI’s CEO to lead a small team in development of systems for model discovery, model training, and production systems that generated forecasts and executed trades on crypto exchanges.During this time I led architecture and implementation of a 24/7 microservices-based trading platform supporting a hot-deployable array of different strategy configurations, live-updating forecast generators, and portfolio optimizations The product was built using Java, Kubernetes, and AWS.

Greater Atlanta Area

Tin Roof Software (acquired by Cognizant) was a boutique consulting firm in Greater Atlanta. I led client-facing teams in the implementation of a microservices-based platform for remote automobile telemetry data collection and analysis, providing day-to-day sprint management and oversight for design and implementation. The product was built on React, Java/.NET, and Python.

LogicBlox was a startup that was building a declarative language-based platform used for forecasting and planning applications for tier 1 retailers (acquired by Infor in 2016). In 2014 I was promoted to serve as principal engineer and manager for delivery of a browser-based self-service environment used for developing analytical and planning applications on top of the LogicBlox database. The system was built in React, Java, Python, and AWS, and it enables non-technical users to navigate, visualize, and manipulate large datasets efficiently.

I transitioned to a pre-sales role to lead discovery discussions with prospects, design and pitch proposals, and liaise with technical teams to execute on closed deals. Clients included a tier 1 retailer and software startups, with deals valued between $50k to $1MM.

In my initial role with LogicBlox, I led a team building a declarative framework for developing rich web-based business applications on the LogicBlox database.

Infinovate was an Atlanta-based boutique consulting firms. I worked on a variety of systems including a multiplexed mpeg streaming server for optimizing digital programming delivery to residential cable set-top boxes, the backend service platform enabling cable customers to remotely administrate their in-home DVRs, the prototype buildout for a online courseware startup, and database optimization and design.
