I studied the biomechanical changes to the user's walking to better understand how humans and robots work together. I was also a teaching assistant for Biomechanics of Movement (ME 281) and Intro to Mechanical Design (ME 104). • Conducted human-in-the-loop optimization of whole-leg exoskeleton assistance during walking,leading to the largest improvement to the metabolic cost of walking to date.• Compared optimized assistance across different walking speeds, grades, and worn loads to understandhow exoskeleton assistance should change in novel walking environments.• Used biomechanical analysis techniques to understand how users adapt to robotic assistance.• Conducted experimental validation of biomechanical simulations to improve our musculoskeletalmodeling techniques. -
