Responsible for the technical integration of a partner organisation in the pre-planning phase of the procurement and during the creation of the international consortium. This pre-planning phase involved the preparation of 70+ strategy and technical reports that covered complex scope of works that were completed prior to the issue of the tender documents. Preparation included visits to the Savannah River Site and Waste Isolation Pilot Plant in the US to understand how the US best practices can be brought to the UK for use in developing national LLW strategies. Responsible for delivering the consortium approach for improving management and operations at the repository, approaches included improved information management and integration of the business systems with right-sized business model.
