With over 20 years of experience in the music and media industry, Patrick is a visionary leader who is passionate about creating products and services that leverage data, technology, and creativity to solve problems and unlock opportunities for artists and consumers.Prior to Bonsai, Patrick founded and led two successful companies that were acquired by tech giants: Source3, a data-driven company in the copyright licensing space, acquired by Facebook in 2017, and RightsFlow, a data-driven enterprise music licensing and royalty company, acquired by Google in 2011. As part of Google, Patrick helped scale YouTube’s music monetization and Content ID system, enabling billions of transactions and revenue for creators and rightsholders. Patrick has also held senior executive positions at The Orchard, eMusic, National Music Publishers’ Association, and The Harry Fox Agency, and has been a mentor and lecturer for various tech and education programs.
