Responsible for all sources of media coverage for Stonewall Columbus• Responsible for agency fundraisers and special events including sponsorship and ad solicitation, ticket sales, logistics and promotional marketing strategies • Reviewed and drafted grants that resulted in direct program support and sustainability for community organizations

Served as the primary liaison between the citizens of Ohio and Ohio EPA technical staff and officials• Created information for the Office of Environmental Education including brochures, fact sheets, grant summaries, news releases and web content• Oversaw the grant coordination process including new applicant review, recommendations for funding and tracking of previously funded projects. Trained educators and grant seekers on proposal writing for maximum financial rewards• Represented the Ohio EPA at conferences across Ohio, including; the Environmental Education Council of Ohio, Ohio Education Association, Ohio Alliance for the Environment and the Science Education Council of Ohio

Coordinated recruitment activities in a travel area consisting of 148 high schools in eastern Ohio, western Pennsylvania and West Virginia• Presented information to prospective students and families regarding the application process, admission requirements, program offerings and financial aid resources• Coordinated the Guidance Counselor Advisory Board, the Akron Alumni Recruitment Team and the College Planning Speakers’ Bureau• Served as an academic advisor for new student orientation and instructor for University 101 to acclimate new students
