Hybrid CIO / GM position working closely with the CEO and Board of Directors, leading the management team, preparing and sharing financials and strategic information both internally and externally, and guiding the use of technology to improve both operations and interactions with customers. Focused on leading and supporting operations across two plants with strong sales growth, materials and labor scarcity, and a need for new tools and processes as we outgrow historical methods.Specifics: • Project management; guiding internal and external teams using cloud-enabled tools. • Work with our accounting team to prepare financials, leveraging ERP data to provide detailed financial information with KPI's specific to our needs. • Budgeting, forecasting, and modeling within departments and companywide. • Work with departments to assess needs and provide the tools required for growth and efficiency gains. • Manage ERP resources and extensions including an intranet that drives our production schedule, inventory processes, and real-time dashboards. • Direct development of our external and internal web resources. • Developed and now maintain our web sales "Configurator", a full stack product quoting solution integrated with ERP data. • Manage company IT resources and staff including network, security, cloud, and VPN assets. • Manage and help define trademarks and patents. Inventor on a drawer locking technology patent. • Work with engineering on product specification environment utilizing parametric 3D modeling and automation in SolidWorks. • Established a new production plant on the opposite coast. Project included property acquisition, building upgrades, and startup of initial production. Relocated to Virginia for 18 months. • Managed a GSA contract for 15 years.Technical competencies include MS SQL, PHP, ASP, VBA, JS, jQuery, VSC, GIT, AWS development, SolidWorks, Sketchup, V-Ray, 3D printing, and advanced Excel work.
