In this role I am responsible for creating and implementing programming for teenagers at one of the largest branches in the library district. Additionally I curate monthly multi media displays emphasizing EDI topics. I am also responsible for using databases to maintain and curate the teen and audiobook collections within my branch. I also serve as a Person In Charge of my branch. In this role I am responsibility for the safety, happiness, and efficacy of the branch. To do this I commonly handle escalated patron interactions, lead team trainings, and collaborate with team members on social activities.

I am a library specialist lead with the Arapahoe Library District. While working with ALD I helped redesign the Summer Reading program in 2021 serving as my Branch Liaison and Project Treasurer. My day to day position is very patron experience oriented, requiring a solid understanding of Microsoft Office, the Google Suite, and the Adobe Creative Cloud. Additionally I have had the opportunity to practice conflict de-escalation and other customer service skills. Beyond my patron facing work I am responsible for creating training programs for new staff at the branch and communicating between different departments to facilitate programming for all ages.
