As an experienced technician in the IV hazardous and non-hazardous room, I specialize in setting up sterile products for dispensing and ensuring accurate record-keeping using EPIC. I am highly skilled in manufacturing uncomplicated and complicated chemotherapy preparations, including large volume, small volume, infusion syringe, infusion pump, and other modalities as required.With my attention to detail, I use standard protocols or best judgment to determine the accurate expiration date for each product prepared. I have extensive experience in preparing and mixing complicated chemotherapy investigational drugs, following mixing instructions accurately and timely. Additionally, I am proficient in managing drug orders daily based on clinic schedules and confirmed appointments, and I operate the KIRO Oncology IV Robot for on-demand mixes and batching.My expertise extends to covering Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center Community sites, including Northwest Hospital and Evergreen Health Medical Center. Furthermore, I train and mentor new employees and pharmacy technician student interns/externs, sharing my knowledge and experience to help them grow.In my work, I adhere to sterile garbing procedures, aseptic practices, clean room conduct, and comply with USP 797, USP 800 standards, and FDA cGMP-503b regulations in ISO7 classified cleanrooms.
