Early in my career, I had a mantra to make a difference. Now as a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones, I have the opportunity to make a difference in people's life. The ability to impact lives certainly coincides with my mantra & I strive to serve clients in an unbiased fashion with the support of a strong team of home-office professionals. I grew up in a small town in Louisiana as the oldest of 3 kids. My dad worked for the USDA advising farmers how to maximize their production & I spent summers tagging along. It was during these summers that I experienced how strategic advice & guidance could help people with their goals. My mom was an accountant but decided to work from home raising me and my siblings. I was first introduced to business during a High School Free-Enterprise class, I was passionately hooked. My journey w/ Edward Jones began 37 years ago when I graduated from LSU & was offered a role in their Financial Advisor training program. Instead, I chose a startup Advisor firm, only to face the challenges of October 1987's Black Monday. Thereafter, I was a financial analyst in the Comptroller's Division of large regional bank. Then after several years with a tech integration company, I joined Microsoft & spent almost 12 years in various roles in sales, marketing, & consulting. During my consulting years, my team & I provided advice to multinational companies & again I saw how strategic guidance could provide exceptional results. In 2007, I joined the Financial Services platform company, Yodlee and built a new division supporting FinTech companies. With over 30 years in business, I now hold Life Accident and Health Insurance Agent License, FINRA 7 and 66 registrations which empower me to assist both business owners & individuals. Together, we create tailored strategies—whether for retirement, education savings, or protecting loved ones’ financial futures. I collaborate closely with professionals like CPAs, estate planning attorneys, and insurance specialists to execute these plans. My office is in Marin County | Kentfield California where my wife grew up and I have come to love. We have three daughters and three dogs which keep us busy. With decades of life and business experiences, I offer a wealth of empathy and insight to my clients. It's never too late to try something new or, in my case, to revisit a passion.
