Over the years I have had the joy of a wide range of employment opportunities. As a tradesman I learn key skills in dealing with people on a face to face basis along with fundamental skills in using machinery, tools, and logical and critical thinking. But the most important skill I learned working as a tradesman, working in a kitchen, and working as a process operator was work ethic. My current employment and job prior help hone my skills as a leader and an effective communicator. Whether being a production manager or an area manager, communication and leadership on all levels is key. Currently I am also serving at the University of Sydney as a volunteer. My unique background as a scientist and technician working out of a workshop allows me to not only critically analyse and pin point a problem but also find, design, and create a solution. I have created several new aids to drastically improve current photogrammetry process at the university such as using coded targets along with 3 axis scale bars.
