At Noonday we focused on helping entrepreneurs with innovative ideas who themselves lacked the technical skills to make them a reality.The first big project we did was Jobbsverige.se 2004, a then much easier job search platform compared to the competition. Many followed suit and in 2005 there were jobbline.se that was very similar. Jobbsverige was sold in 2006 to StepStone and there ended our contribution to the project.Besides jobbsverige.se we have developed masterguide.org for Universum, and (from October 2009 to June 2010) vendorlandscape.com. All these are examples of vertical search engines. Unfortunately vendorlandscape.com didn't receive enough funding to fly, so the project was abandoned.We also had our own products, navigationsutbildning.se in Sweden and båtbevis.no in Norway. These products offered 100% Internet-based courses in the “båtsportssegmentet”. With IF, Eurocard as partners.

Navigationsutbildning.se is a fully Internet based boating education. It was the first of it's kind in 2006 and is now the leading e-learning product in the segment.

Responsible for project management and implementation of agile methods and process development.My expertise in monitoring, systems and programming also meant that I also hung out a lot in the code.One of the most inspiring and rewarding project I've worked on to date. The project's size was, if you factor in the development office in Ukraine, 35 persons. The product was largely based on open source software and used by some of the world's largest mobile operators. This, together with the fact that we offered support and emergency service 24 x 7 x 365 put some special requirements on the people working on the project. All where very talented and flexible people, the hitherto best developers / IT engineers I have had the honor to work with! Scaling, surveillance and security are some of the key ingredients of the product. These are all key words that interest me very much. There are few tasks that beat the detective work required to find bottle necks and scaling issues in large platforms.

When creating mobile software to be used by different vendors, it is important to keep a general, completely portable, level avoiding all kinds of platform dependencies. This has its obvious advantages, but it also leads to a quite large amount of work that needs to be spent on making the platform specific integrations. A company that works according to these principles is Obigo AB, who is one of the world leading suppliers of mobile applications, the mobile browser being their most well-known. The issues regarding the integration projects, combined with the fact that the platforms of the mobile devices are becoming increasingly similar to desktop versions (e.g. Embedded Linux, Windows Mobile etc.), laid the foundation for this Masters Thesis. The purpose of the thesis was to investigate the feasibility to port the mobile browser from Obigo to a desktop environment and implement a proof-of-concept application.

As Qurator you are responsible for the Nation (some what like a fraternity) daily activity.

During this period Vitamex was bought by Nutricia. This resulted in new demands on integration and streamlining of IT usage though out the organization. IT became in focus as management realized how vulnerable the business was to it failures, this resulted in an effort to secure hardware and software. I was responsible for the design and implementation of fire safety systems, monitoring and disaster recovery. We also needed to get better control of the company's 60 shops so a decision was taken to upgrade the ERP system and implementing a nationwide computer system that would be online to headquarters. I headed this project and the roll-out of all units. At this time, the IT department has grown from one, when I started, to 5 people. Project size ranged from 2 to 10 people with a length of one month to a year.
