Doing the right thing is always the right thing to do, even when it is hard and unpopular. As a seasoned CFO, strong values of integrity and ethics drive my daily decision–making in achieving corporate objectives.Over the course of my 20–year career transforming, re–engineering, and restructuring manufacturing and technology companies, I have leveraged expertise in finance, operations, and public accounting to consistently deliver strategic and bottom–line impacts. My finance career began after graduation with Ernst & Young (E&Y). After 10 years, I was recruited to PGT Industries as its CFO to provide the infrastructure and financial leadership to support its rapid growth from a $25M to $60M company. In 1997, Ernst & Young re–hired me to build and manage the newly–established North Florida Internal Audit Services practice. An E&Y partner recommendation led to a CFO/COO stint with Creditiq.com to transform a brick and mortar company into an Internet portal and overhaul the business plan to secure investor funding.Teltronics recruited me, again upon recommendation of E&Y as its VP of Finance/CFO to rebuild a demoralized finance department in anticipation of a key acquisition. As part of the re–engineering, I restructured excess debt that eliminated a tremendous cash burden and generated a $5M reduction in the overall debt obligation.Custom Windows brought me on board as its CFO to restructure a sole shareholder company to a professionally managed enterprise. That endeavor led to $10M in revenue growth in 24 months.I have most recently been involved with providing financial and operational leadership for two companies experiencing excessive bank debt, negative cash flow, and disproportionate overhead. I have negotiated several forbearance and debt restructuring agreements that extended significant debt payments and reduced corporate and operating overhead while helping develop a sustainable business strategy.Specialties: Certified Public Accountant, operationally oriented, process improvement, entrepreneurial companies, cost rationalization, banking relationships
