I am a data and information management specialist with over 25 years of experience, about half of that in consultancy. I am passionate about using data in any shape or form to enable people and organisations to make the best possible informed decision. I thrive on working together with, and coaching, team members to capitalise on people's strengths in order to create outcomes that are successful for the organisation and motivate the team to further innovation.Originally an in-house Oracle database application and reporting developer, as a consultant I have worked extensively on data-warehousing and BI, done projects focusing on data migration, data integration, EIM and ILM, then returning to an in-house role focusing on interaction between on-prem and Cloud-based platforms (data migration, data integration, data reconciliation and quality). Most recently I’ve been contracting, data migration and remediation work.In a nutshell I- have strong technical skills and analytical abilities, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills- enjoy interaction with other people as well as being highly self-motivated. - am adaptive and able to successfully balance workloads and deadlines- have a laser sharp focus for details while simultaneously maintaining an overview of the big picture- am open to new ideas and viewpoints, and enjoy learning about new tools to achieve those- have an optimistic and can-do attitude, happy to share expertise within the organization and with peersI have experience with- reporting, integration, DW and BI on mostly Oracle database environments (also Postgres, Redshift, SQL server)- data migration/DVT/remediation- analysis, modeling, ETL design, development, testing, DQ and runtime scenarios incl.
