My journey in the pensions industry began over four decades ago, starting in the mail room at People’s Partnership (formally B&CE). Over the years I have been fortunate to work across various functions in our organisation. My passion from the beginning has always been improving the way we do things and maximising my impact to make a real difference to the business and the people we serve.I have been honoured to hold the position of Chief Executive Officer of People’s Partnership for the past 12 years, my path has been intertwined with the evolution of our business, guided by a steadfast belief in our vision, purpose and values.At the heart of my professional life is a passion for delivering value and fairness for all. Being instrumental in establishing The People’s Pension, the UK's largest private Master Trust that serves over 6.5 million members with £25bn AuM and a trajectory to be a £100bn scheme in the next 10 years is something I am extremely proud of. As a profit for people organisation, we drive maximum value back to our members, not shareholders, setting us apart from the rest of the market. I have always been driven by an overarching desire to shape the pension industry for the better, creating a fairer and more inclusive industry is my focus while never losing sight of the responsibility we have when looking after our members money, and the impact we have on millions of people’s lives. This is not something I have ever, or will ever, take lightly. Today, my focus extends beyond business achievements. I am committed to using my knowledge, experience, and voice to drive positive change in the pensions industry. As a mentor, I aim to ignite the same passion in the next generation of pension experts, guiding them towards innovation and excellence, while helping them to develop and fulfil their potential, nothing is more rewarding to me.
