At its peak in 2012, Company did $320 million in annual revenue with 700 employees.During my tenure as CEO of Entropic I completed successful Initial Public Offering (NASDAQ: ENTR) in 2007 raising $54 million and resulting in a $450 million market cap, in a very difficult IPO environment. Raised an additional $100 million of growth capital in a secondary offering in 2010. Market cap peaked at over $1 billion.While the CEO at Entropic, we completed six acquisitions: Arabella Software, RF Magic, Vativ Technologies, Trident set-top box SoC business, PLX DBS outdoor unit chip business, and Mobius Semiconductor. Drove the overall business strategy including identification of target market segments and key customers. Negotiated key partnerships and other business arrangements. Principal shareholder, the Titan Corporation, closed the company in October 2002 to re-focus on its defense business. Folded engineering services business of LinCom into Titan.

Joined LSI Logic as part if its acquisition of C-Cube Microsystems.Responsible for the P&L for a $200M+ business unit. Functional responsibility for marketing, VLSI engineering, system engineering and QA. Team included about 150 professionals. Reported to the Senior Vice President of the Broadband Entertainment Division.

Company was leader in MPEG video encoding and decoding. Key applications were set-top boxes, DVD players, DVD recorders and professional encoding equipment.Started as director and moved through series of staff and line roles in the company. Grew business fivefold over a four year period. As SVP and corporate officer, responsible for overall marketing, corporate development, strategic planning, investor relations, applications engineering, and system engineering. Team included about 150 professionals. Reported to the CEO.Involved in positioning of DiviCom subsidiary for sale to Harmonic in 1999. Intimately involved “carve-out” public offering of C-Cube Semiconductor after the sale of DiviCom, and was ultimately involved in the sale of C-Cube to LSI Logic.
