I am a passionate and results-focussed software developer with over 17 years experience architecting and building web-based systems for financial services, online wagering, human resources and many other industries.During that time I have run a leading web/software development agency, lead a team of developers on numerous projects, hacked away into the night on solo endeavours and launched a successful start-up from my kitchen.Java is my primary language with a supporting cast of JPA/Hibernate, JAX-WS, Spring and Struts2.I also have a strong, but fading, background in Perl, and have used Groovy, Ruby, PHP, Laszlo and C# at various points.
