Patrick Higgins stated in real estate in January 2000 as a small independent agency in the village of Wollongbar after a long career in the financial services industry, which included a financial planning and finance. The attraction of real estate as a wealth creation tool had always been an interest, however this did not fit the roll of a financial planner so Patrick obtained his real estate licenses and made the career change to real estate sales. In this role he found that he could combine his knowledge of financial planning/wealth creation and finance to help his clients achieve long term financial goals. In May 2003, after careful research, Patrick and staff joined the a multi national, high profile franchise group with offices in 66 countries and over 200,000 agents worldwide. Soon the business expanded to become what it is today, a company that employs 7 people including family members who have joined the business and a sizeable rent roll of investors in real estate. In 2008 we took the opportunity to open a second office in Lismore, which is strategically located in the thriving CBD of Lismore. Lismore is the heart of the local rural region with two hospitals and a university along with large retail shopping centres it is the ideal location to invest in real estate. From our location in Lismore we service Bangalow, Clunes, Bexhill, Dunoon, Rosebank, Modanville, Tullera, Casino, Caniba, Wyrallah, Coraki, Trigeagle, Alphadale, Mcleans Riges, Alstonville, Rous, Ballina, Richmond Hill, Goonellabah and Lismore.After ten years of being part of a large franchise group we decided to return to a independent office as we had out grown the need of their marketing. As a member of the EAC group we found that the technology and service provided by EAC exceeded that of the larger franchise groups. As a independent agency we get to invest our money in local service and not send money to the big cities. We think this is important as it helps local jobs.
