Managed staff of 3 finance professionals.Created a new system, using ABC costing, which allows for the accurate long term forecasting of patent costs as well as a better understanding of how much each patent activity costs.Using ABC costing data, worked with Intellectual Property Management to determine the best mix and best tasks to be performed by internal Motorola headcount vs. outsourced vendors.
