Headed a claims department specialized in leisure and business travel accident, student and expatriate insurance plans for individual, group and inclusive insurance programs; furthered the development of policies, procedures and standards for claims handling, cost containment and recoveries and provided claims authority guidelines. Supported the launch of a new Sales, Assistance and Claims platform and call recording system, provided guidance to the Executive Committee on responsibilities including project management and direction, cost efficiency and strategic planning.
