As the Project Engineer, responsibilities included "virtually building the job" and serving as the direct contact between the owner, architect, consultants, and subcontractors for resolve of any constructability constraints which were typical in this Historic Security Building, originally built in 1926. Budget and change management were vital day to day tasks, extending to weekly owner progress reports and review of costs/pay-applications.Due to the fast paced schedule and consistent design issues, implementing lean process to find efficiences along the way was vital for success. As the MEP Superintendent/lean champion of the project, managed the role of direct communication with the tradesman/"last planners" in the field to assure constraints were cleared and schedule was maintained.

Managed the construction of the multi-million dollar Alexander Montessori School Expansion Project in South Miami, a ground up, two story, 18,000 sqft education building achieving LEED Gold status. Performed the dual role of Project Engineer and Superintendent including responsibility from initial subcontractor scope review to financial close out with client. Responsibilities included Submittal review, generating weekly owner progress reports for OAC meetings, subcontractor pay-application review, budget and change management.

Field Engineer for the construction of the Hertz Global Headquarters. Responsible for engineering and commissioning of all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection trades as well as assisting with Change Management. Transitioned to an Area Superintendent with focus on back and front of house Kitchen.Developed and implemented electronic commissioning log with the use of Bluebeam Studio to track equipment status and to be used as a turnover package of all MEP data to the client.

Providing support in the process of designing and re-engineering manufacturing systems, service systems, and supply chains.Gaining experience in scheduling, systems modeling, facility design, quality systems (QA/QC), and management programs.Implemented lean manufacturing processes throughout factory operations to mitigate waste.Issued Preventive Maintenance Reports, specifically those dealing with Metal Detectors, for avoidance or mitigation of equipment failure.

Provided engineering support on multiple bid packages. Responsibilities included plan review, contracting, procurement, and scheduling. Assisted in coordination of shop drawing reviews, submittals, requests for information, estimating & job cost, and permitting & building code compliance.Honed skills in building strong working relationships with subcontractors and giving instruction to staff personnel to ensure a quality process from start to finish.
