As the Project Engineer, responsibilities included "virtually building the job" and serving as the direct contact between the owner, architect, consultants, and subcontractors for resolve of any constructability constraints which were typical in this Historic Security Building, originally built in 1926. Budget and change management were vital day to day tasks, extending to weekly owner progress reports and review of costs/pay-applications.Due to the fast paced schedule and consistent design issues, implementing lean process to find efficiences along the way was vital for success. As the MEP Superintendent/lean champion of the project, managed the role of direct communication with the tradesman/"last planners" in the field to assure constraints were cleared and schedule was maintained.
