I also bring valuable perspectives from my experience as an independent board director and senior advisor, where I’ve counseled on how to form, manage, and provide governance for initiatives that drive innovation, and growth. This includes expertise in areas like strategy under uncertainty, strategic partnership development, open innovation, licensing (IP, technology, data, content partnerships, product integrations), and ecosystem building.Currently, I serve in a full time advisory role at Google, aligned with top company priorities.For more than 15 years at Google, I led teams responsible for partnerships and business development for many of Google’s most important consumer products and related platform APIs, including Search, Maps, News, Books, Chrome, Research, and Assistant. Internally, this involved collaborating with and serving as “business partner” to Engineering and Product leadership to launch and scale these products. Externally, we were responsible for partnerships with a broad range of partners across all sectors and scales, from startups to multinational corporations, spanning the public and private sectors, and encompassing a wide range of partnership models to enable these commercial collaborations. My experience at Google provides a deep understanding of the complexities of bringing innovative products to market and fostering growth through partnerships and ecosystem initiatives. I’m as passionate as ever about leveraging technology to create positive change. My experience across diverse areas like hardware, software, the internet, AI, and Web3 enables me to help cross-functional teams develop innovative solutions in response to evolving technologies and regulations. I'm particularly excited about the transformative opportunities presented by generative AI and AI agents, and intrigued by IP-related applications of blockchain technologies.
