Manage the plan of development for >64k acres within Eagle Ford Karnes and De Witt County position. Tasked with revitalizing the development for the 2022 $3 billion Ensign acquisition where we are now outperforming acquisition expectations. I coordinate daily with regulatory, land, and engineering groups to execute the plan of development and hit company targets and have directed development of >131 wells accounting for cumulative production to date of over 14.27 MMBO.Accomplishments:• Optimize wells through complex SA extensions, azimuthal bends, land agreements, completion design, well spacing, fault navigation, and targeting that led to adding over 37,980’ of completable lateral worth over $22.12MM in 2023.• Led efforts to plan Marathon Oil’s first Eagle Ford U-Turn wells. Leveraged industry data to justify DLS within the U-bend, utilized ChatGPT and Python to optimize well plans for unit development and increase accuracy and speed of well plan iteration, created new targeting strategy to increase separation factor and decrease anti-collision risk, and set up a trial on an adjacent well to understand mud weight and conventional mud motor yield. The wells are planned to be drilled late Q4 2024 and will reduce capital spend by >$4MM for the unit development.• Performed competitor intelligence across the Eagle Ford. This included creating a Spotfire dashboard to view all offsets operators remaining inventory by pulling Enverus’s placed sticks through Snowflake and allowing for internal mapping and industry trends to adjust automatically placed sticks and benchmark remaining inventory and evaluate company value.• Push drilling group to incorporate innovative techniques to incrementally capture value. Recently drilled the 2nd longest 2-string step-out in the Eagle Ford, ~2,850’, reducing location, rig MOB, and completion cost of $1.7MM. Provided drilling with industry data on step-outs and mud weights to aid in execution.

Lead operations geologist for >125 wells across all L48 assets including, Permian, Oklahoma, Bakken, Eagle Ford, Louisiana, and West Texas. Selected as lead operations geologist for high-profile exploration plays within West Texas and Louisiana and successfully executed 8 horizontal wildcat wells in data poor areas while managing 1-2 rigs within the primary fleet.Accomplishments:• Worked with the Permian asset team to eliminate a casing string by evaluating offset operator data and understanding of geological controls on our casing program.• Worked beyond operations geologist role for exploration group staking 7 wells and 2 produced water pounds which were utilized to reduce completion costs.

Involved calculating and mapping net pay, average porosity, and average water saturation.• Evaluated core and thin sections for contact identification and lithological characterization.• Utilized XRD data to determine mineralogical trends.

Lexington, Kentucky Area

Aided in the assessment of acquisition and mergers by evaluating upside potential and reserves for a given company, including the design of geological models for their given acreage/field and evaluation of production data within the Appalachian Basin, Illinois Basin, Powder River Basin, Santa Maria Basin, and the Ventura Basin.Accomplishments:• Developed a program using VBA in MS Access and Excel to automate decline curve analysis for single well EUR using public production data which was used as an exploration technique. The program assisted in the discovery of two novel areas of interest that were pursued for acquisition.

• Supported several projects including research on the Permian-Triassic by working in the geochemistry lab of Dr. Thomas J. Algeo. Duties included performing loss on ignition, total organic carbon and total inorganic carbon analysis, preparing pellets for x-ray fluorescence and properly disposing acids.• Participated in weekly meetings where current research was discussed with other students and visiting faculty.
