The contract at The Information Lab begins with 4 months of specialised training in both Tableau and Alteryx from some of the best and most experienced users worldwide. This is followed by 4 x 6month placements at various clients to utilize these skills and gain invaluable experience.

Principal Consultant - my role across some of our larger accounts. This involves providing expert technical support to the client and our consultants within those accounts.Pre-sales - supporting business growth and acting as a Tableau & Alteryx Evangelist to prospective clients.Project Leader - Supporting Clients as they embark on their journey with Tableau. Acting as the project lead when migrating Reports and data sources from legacy products to Tableau.Coaching - Perform targeted enablement training internally for Data Schoolers and externally for our clients.Other services involving Tableau Server & Tableau Cloud: - Tableau Server Administrator: Having Server Administrator level expertise allows me to support Clients and inform them on Server best practice. - Performing Tableau Server Health Checks: For clients with poorly performing Server environments, I perform health checks and provide a report with recommendations on how to improve their Server Performance. - Tableau Server to Tableau Cloud Migration Readiness Assessment: We see many clients keen on migrating to Tableau Cloud, but not all are ready for such a large change. My role here is to run an assessment using all the information within their Tableau Server Environment then provide recommendations and next steps to take to audit their server, ensuring it is ready to migrate to Tableau Cloud. - Tableau Server to Tableau Cloud Migration: When a client is set up and ready to migrate to Tableau Cloud, I perform this migration using the Content Migration Tool, Tableau's RestAPI alongside some manual tasks. This project finishes after an enablement / UAT period to ensure the client is up and running and confident using Tableau Cloud going forwards.

Use Tableau to report on ongoing Oncology Clinical Trials.Use SQL to develop reporting views to be used as the data source when building Tableau Dashboards.Use GIT within VSCode to push changes to the master branch.

Savills is my first placement as a consultant for The Information Lab.I support the Occupier Services team creating tableau reports for external clients. The bulk of my work includes building Alteryx Workflows and Tableau Dashboards whilst administering both the Tableau and Alteryx server.I've gained experience in scheduling workflows and reports whilst acting as the only member of the team that has Tableau & Alteryx experience, meaning stakeholder and expectation management is a key part of my role.

My role as an analyst at Gamesys was predominantly supporting the Marketing team make critical business decisions. This was done through SQL database querying alongside both excel and tableau reporting to senior stakeholders.

Lead Graphics Tester in our UK offices. My role is to oversee all testing practices that take place in the UK test lab. At the beginning of my role, I played a huge part in the new set up of the lab to ensure it is equipped for all Deltatre projects and to ensure that multiple projects can be tested at once.

Initially involved in graphics development for Premier League, ATP, Eurosport events. I've had exposure to Viz Artist (broadcast graphics software) as well as Adobe Software including After Effects and Photoshop.I successfully delivered many projects, most notably the French and US Open broadcast for one of our major clients.

My placement year at Heathrow involved a rotation across various financial departments, supporting both the operation of the airport and the head office. Departments involved Business Finance, External Reporting, Tax and Commercial Finance.

Worked both on the shop floor and on the checkouts at Waitrose.My role involved getting the right stock on the right shelves at the right time - organisation skills and time management. A lot of face to face contact with the public - interpersonal skills.Constantly under pressure to fulfil the needs of the customer - decision making.Learned the role of checkouts - fast learner, keen to learn and develop.Keeping the car park tidy and fit for use - ascertaining customers' needs.Clearing all rubbish from tills to ensure they are fit for use.

I undertook 2 weeks of work experience at my local primary school. The role involved working with, organising and managing children constantly.In mornings up until lunch time, I was mainly working in bottom set maths classes with 9-10 year olds aiming to enhance their mathematical ability and ultimately their confidence when doing maths.After lunch time I would take individual Physical Education classes, which I usually took on my own. I had to organise an activity and integrate around 30 young pupils at a time ensuring they were participating and also, enjoying themselves.This was such an enjoyable experience for me, being the reason that pupils were enjoying themselves was a huge rewards for myself.
