Led the PET cardiology program focused on U.S. approval and launch of the RUBY-FILL Rubidium-82 system for PET myocardial perfusion imaging, resulting in approval by the FDA in September, 2016. Managed the rigorous and comprehensive program for validation and FDA review for this state-of-the-art automated drug/device product. Served as a key member of the Executive Committee for JDI during a period of significant change.

Established and led the North American operations for the Modular-Lab automated radiopharmaceutical synthesis system, imaging and therapy isotopes and clinical research support services. Launched the Modular-Lab and IGG100 Ga-68 Generator product line and developed and executed the strategic plan for North America. Positioned Eckert & Ziegler as the Ga-68 market leader and formed research partnerships with key academic institutions. Set up the North American office in Hopkinton, MA, hired all professional staff, leased facilities, established business and technical services. Created a product development plan for a sterile Ga-68 generator and presented the plan to the U.S. FDA.

Led multi-national expansion into global medical therapy business to improve profit and accelerate growth. Launched the Auriga Medical brand and formed and led this new $4 million business unit.

Founded a new radiation therapy product line including radioactive implants and treatment planning software. Directed marketing & sales, product & business development, business plan & forecast and relationship with suppliers. Senior member of the management team involved in shaping the strategic direction of the company.

Managed twelve-person engineering organization responsible for process development, product and packaging improvement and manufacturing plant startup for three new women’s health care products.

Led the product and process development for the Technelite Tc-99m generator. Managed ten process engineers, scientists and designers supporting a $300 million worldwide injectable pharmaceuticals business. Led strategic planning for sourcing core radiopharmaceutical products. Administered $1 million annual operating budget and $20 million project budget.

Directed construction turnover and startup for a $980 million project for permanent disposal of radioactive waste from the U.S. DOE nuclear materials program at the Savannah River facility.
