I consulted with California's Department of Health Care Access and Information on two workforce development initiatives. I helped set up pathways to distribute state resources for the 21st Century Nursing and Community Health Worker/Promotora workforce development initiatives. Together the programs equal an encumbrance of $500m.I helped design and run the robust stakeholder engagement for the CHW/P/R as well as developed the policy guidance letter detailing the requirements of the program.• Provided policy recommendations for two workforce projects with a combined budget of $500M• Developed RFI/RFP/SOW/Contracts/Policy Guidance documents for external partners and encumbrance• Created stakeholder engagement materials and engaged in stakeholder engagement design decisions• Engaged in directing stakeholder sessions and participated in answering stakeholder questions during live Q&A• Presented monthly status reports to the director and fielded questions as a subject-matter expert• Analyzed legislation and provided a report on impacted change to the CHW/P/R workforce• Developed a position paper in response to critical stakeholder feedback

Contract with twin rivers unified school district to perform assisted contact tracing for nurses.• Assisted in the creation of COVID-19 Contact Tracing Program for Twin Rivers School District (26,000+ students) • Developed process flow documentation, scripts, and training materials for contact tracers• Facilitated training sessions for all contact tracers and Twin Rivers staff• Designed system for tracking progress of symptomatic cases to improve case management efficiency and reporting capabilities• Performed outreach to parents of Twin Rivers students to inform of exposure and determine symptomatic status

I performed a university-sponsored, independent & comparative research project on the education of deaf students in Rome, Italy, and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. I utilized traditional and ethnographic research concepts including first-hand research at both locations over the course of a school year. The project culminated a year later as two papers on each specific location in addition to a paper & presentation on the comparisons and conclusions.

Research Assistant on “Child Sex Trafficking in Higher Education” research project – the first database of professors and staff in higher education arrested and/or prosecuted on child pornography related crimes. Tasks included making independent decisions about data strategy, developing methodology, data collection and data entry with a research objective of analysis and write-up in a peer-reviewed academic journal article.
