My role with CFHIS is to operate, maintain, and repair whenneeded the Virtual Private Network (VPN) backbone connecting the dental and medical buildings across Canada. My secondary duty includes being the second line of support for the CFHIS helpdesk.

My former duties was receiving phone calls from military and civilian personnel and helping them solve computer and telephone related problems within a fast paced environment. My former responsibilities included first line hardware and software support for approximately 15,000 users. My career as Sales Engineer with CRYPTOCard has most definitely honed in on my skills when it comes to understanding the nature of security products and how it is being used in the real world. I was responsible for keeping end users as well as VARs informed of up and coming technology as well as existing technology offered by CRYPTOCard.

In 1998, I applied to be part of the Customer Service Team. Provided many training courses on DVB, MPE, IP, UDP vs. TCP and all IDC product lines. Support IDC in many on site installation and after sales support. Prior to 1998, I worked for IDC as an Electrical Engineering Testing and Repairing Printed Circuit Boards

I opened a computer store on Elgin Street in Ottawa and for the next two years, I fixed thousands of computers from personal computers to small business. After two great years, I went back to work for International Datacasting and continued my computer repair guy service in the evening and weekends.
