Patrick Miller is an Investment Specialist in the Chicago office of J.P. Morgan Private Bank. Patrick is skilled in strategic hedging transactions for owners of closely-held enterprises, sports teams, aircraft and other concentrated assets, managing inherent risks across both the asset/liability sides of the balance sheet. He also actively guides his clients on opportunistic investments available via derivative markets, private placements, direct venture capital and thematic equity sleeves.With over a decade-long career in Chicago, Patrick began with Guggenheim Partners in its institutional hedge fund advisory group. He has been an integral member of J.P. Morgan Private Bank's investment practice for over ten years. Sturdy Midwestern values underlie Patrick’s ability to connect with clients in Chicago, Kansas City, Indianapolis, Minneapolis and elsewhere. He has kindled an abiding loyalty and a deep understanding of the region's affluent families and individuals. Patrick obtained a B.S.B.A. in International Business and Finance at the University of Missouri, graduating Summa Cum Laude with Honors, and studied abroad at Universidad de Sevilla. While in school, he interned at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City and Cerner Corporation. He obtained an M.B.A. at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Active in the Chicago community, Patrick has mentored at North Lawndale College Prep since 2013. He lives in Winnetka, IL with his wife and two children.
