I’m seeking a role with an entrepreneurial organization that can leverage my skills and experience to help them scale and grow and achieve their vision. The role could be focused on business development, on establishing partners and networks, or could be more focused on product design and strategy, but ideally would have a component of establishing or enhancing strategies and processes.For my most recent role, I left the Financial Services industry to fulfill an entrepreneurial dream, and founded Adventure Sports Innovation, a unique company that enabled our guests to experience an adrenaline-pumping adventure while trying out cutting-edge new gear from innovative manufacturers around the world. Our products included electric off-road vehicles, hydrofoil surfboards, jet body boards, e-skateboards, e-unicycles, hoverboards and virtual reality simulators. We have recently wound down and sold Adventure Sports Innovation, and during 6 years as CEO, I was thrilled to live our tagline of “Explore Differently” on a daily basis. Our business allowed me to test drive our gear and to pioneer different ways to grow our business, and also to explore our multiple industries, from adventure tourism to team building to retail sales to vehicle distribution. My career in banking evolved from my first role as a customer service agent to roles in Operations, then to Risk Management, Sales and Relationship Management and later to senior roles in Sales Leadership, Product Management and Product Development. My customers included many of the largest companies, government agencies and banks in the world, and I was privileged to meet with their senior leadership at their headquarters and regional hub locations, where I was entrusted to help them optimize how they handled their money. I received intense training from Citi and Bank of America, have learned much from amazing colleagues and clients, and have continued my personal growth through significant research and frequent attendance at (and often presenting at) seminars and conferences.I’m looking forward to this next chapter in my professional life.
