I have a strong drive to want to understand any system I work with in its entirety, and to utilise that system to its fullest. A motto I keep in the back of my mind on a day-to-day basis: "If it is worth doing, it is worth doing well". Whether that be working with a design team, a computer program, or even when playing games with friends on the weekend - I always apply myself to complete a task or work in such a way that I achieve the best possible result from the given situation.I started out wanting to study physics at university, and was persuaded into studying science with a dual in engineering. Over the years of the degree I found that the team management, and design aspects of engineering were much more my forte. I ceased studying physics, and continued on to do my masters in mechanical engineering.Since graduating, I have worked as a project engineer, and continued studying through JCU's MBAG. I am looking to develop a career where I can continue to expand my knowledge base and apply my experiences. I am particularly interested in environmental conservation and helping the wider community.
