Responsibilities• Participates in conference calls with the US team when necessary (e.g. clarify issues).• Attends technical design walk-through with the supervisor (team lead or sub-lead) and/or a US counterpart prior to start of coding.• Creates issue resolution approach and technical design documents.• Performs issue investigation and analysis.• Codes a task based on design specifications and established standards.• Participates in code reviews with the supervisor/reviewers.• Prepares the unit test plan, test conditions and test data documents.• Logs questions and/or issues to the project issues log. • Documents discussion points, issue resolution and meeting minutes.• Reports issues and status of the task to the supervisor on a regular basis.• Participates and prepares the required deliverables and approvals for the Change Control Board (CCB) process.• Finishes tasks within budget while ensuring quality of deliverables• Provides production on-call support for incidents occurring during RWMS batch operations, such as program aborts, long-running jobs, and installations.• Follows support escalation procedures.• Helps facilitate/attends project-specific training, brown bag sessions as well as project meetings.• Ensures that quality system requirements are applied in the team.• Suggests and implements best practices (i.e. technology, tool, process) to the team.• Creates Microstategy objects based on requirements. This includes creation of schema objects, application objects and configuration objects (if necessary).• Perform migration of Microstategy objects from one environment to another.• Utilizes the integrity manager to ensure that migration will not cause issues from one environment to another.
