My role with Sigma Alpha Epsilon includes responsibility for both their nonprofit foundation and the national office of a 160+ year-old fraternity with 225 groups in the US and Canada with 13K undergrad members, 220K living alumni, and thousands of active donors.I am an executive team member reporting to the CEO and the board of trustees across the two distinct entities. In addition to my primary responsibilities, I also contribute to executive team decisions on strategy, national policies, and crisis management.My responsibilities have included setting and managing annual IT budget of ~$600K, leading various technology initiatives (migrations, implementations, conversions, integrations) using both traditional and Agile project management methodologies, managing the corporate brand, and finding new ways to help others do their jobs more efficiently.I have been consistently tasked by the executive team to take on ad hoc leadership for the day-to-day business functions of various departments including Communications, Membership, and Alumni Services.

The platform provides transparency on member expectations and has led to significant reductions in risk and claims. I also managed an 18-month $2M construction and renovation project to our historic headquarters building to comply with city building code, reporting progress to the Board and managing the efforts of multiple vendors and trades.
