Ik werk aan aanleg- en onderhoudsprojecten van de voorbereiding tot en met de realisatiefase.Andere verantwoordelijk heden zijn: fungeren als vast aanspreekpunt voor het projectteam; sturing geven aan het technisch team, waarbij je zorgt voor coaching en ontwikkeling van jouw medewerkers; coördineren van de inhoudelijke, procesmatige en procedurele voorbereiding van de besluitvorming in de verschillende fases van het project; zorgen voor de planning van werkpakketten en maken van werkverdelingen voor het team; verantwoordelijk zijn voor de technische kwaliteit van, door aannemers uit te voeren, werkzaamheden. in jouw rol ben je verantwoordelijk voor de toepassing van kaders en richtlijnen en invoering en toepassing van nieuwe methodes en methodieken. Daarnaast zorg je voor interne afstemming met de andere projectmanagement teamleden en bezoek je landelijke stakeholders op regelmatige basis.

In deze functie ben ik verantwoordelijk voor de Afdeling Operation Standard Products. De disciplines die tot deze afdeling behoren, zijn logistiek en inkoop, kwaliteit, werkvoorbereiding, productie en productie-engineering. Onze producten worden veelal voor onderzoeksdoeleinden ingezet bij commerciële bedrijven en universiteiten. Bij Getinge wordt continu gewerkt aan optimalisatie van onze processen, waarbij er volop ondersteuning is vanuit de Getinge Groep. De implementatie van deze aanpassingen is een bedrijfsbrede aanpak. Daily management, werken volgens takt en verminderingen van verspillingen zijn de aandachtspunten. Maar ook de invoer van KanBan en digitalisering van onze testprotocollen is geïntroduceerd. Behalve het introduceren van procesoptimalisaties is coaching en ontwikkelingsmogelijkheden van de managers en teamleiders een belangrijke verantwoordelijkheid. De afdeling bestaat uit ongeveer 50 FTE met een vaste en flexibele groep medewerkers.

In this role, I am responsible for the delivery of Applikon controllers and bioreactors, which are produced in two distinct streams: the standard group and the project-based group. The standard group focuses on delivering configured systems directly to the customer, without maintaining finished product inventory. From late 2017 to the end of 2019, we achieved a 50% reduction in lead time by implementing a one-piece flow system and other waste-reduction techniques. Additionally, output increased by 30% without adding extra full-time employees (FTE).In the project-based group, the emphasis is on cost control through precise time tracking and ensuring reliable delivery throughout various project phases. As the production manager, I oversee purchasing, production planning, warehouse management, physical distribution, mechanical production (orbital and TIG welding), and electrical production for both standard systems and custom projects. In total, I manage around 45 FTE.A key initiative I introduced was the implementation of Jira into the production environment. This allowed us to better track and manage tasks, optimize workflows, and improve cross-departmental communication. By integrating Jira, we enhanced project visibility, streamlined production processes, and increased efficiency across the board.

Oud-Beijerland

In this role, I am responsible for the production of shock absorbers for the Car, BTT, and Railway segments. Together with 8 team leaders, 100 production employees, and a maintenance department, we produce approximately 14,000 shock absorbers and 50,000 FSD units per week. The production process relies heavily on automated CNC and milling machines, while the welding department utilizes a combination of PLC-controlled and robot-operated welding machines. In the assembly lines, in addition to manual tasks, various pick-and-place robots are employed.I focus on ensuring quality, output, and productivity, with a flexible workforce being crucial to achieving our targets. By collaborating closely with process engineers and the quality department, we have improved productivity on these lines by up to 15%.

Rotterdam

In this role, I am responsible for the maintenance and repair of Applus RTD's AUT and RTR systems, which are used for inspecting welds on new pipeline constructions. Together with a team of 7 permanent employees and 4 freelancers, we maintain 170 AUT and RTR systems. While the maintenance is primarily conducted in Rotterdam, we also provide on-site services when necessary, particularly offshore.Additionally, I oversee workshops in Houston, Edmonton, and Perth to ensure functional management. This allows us to maintain system standardization and improve the interchangeability and deployment of systems worldwide. I also initiate, financially justify, and implement expansions to the current system portfolio and new developments.Furthermore, I established a warehouse along with its related processes and optimized the inventory system. A key aspect of this role is implementing continuous improvements, which is part of my daily routine.

Dordrecht

In this role, I was responsible for overseeing the production process within the Aquaflux segment. Together with 50 colleagues, we produced 120 to 150 flow meters per week. The workflow varied between standard products and custom orders. These flow meters met the client's high-quality standards and were delivered within the confirmed lead time. I managed 2 team leaders, a welding department with 12 employees, and an assembly department with 25 employees. The key aspects of my daily work included directing the team leaders, production planners, and buyers, as well as initiating improvement projects related to quality issues or capacity increases. I was also evaluated based on the profitability of projects.Additionally, I participated in Kaizen and Lean projects, held both on the shop floor and in the office, four times a year.
