I have done several programs for the students about how to effectively use social media as a tool for professional networking.

My second year in this position I organized a large-scale student-led cookout for people living in residence halls. This event required several of the student workers to be ServSafe Certified and required me to work within a budget. This cookout became a yearly tradition which is still observed each year. Additionally I co-led the organization of a campus wide free concert two years in a row. This required me to collect funds from several other campus organizations and had me managing many different areas at once including working with the sound company to make sure we had speakers, working with dining to make sure we had all the food that was requested for the band, working with campus advertising groups to get the information out, and of course staying in constant communication with the band manager.

Customer service is key. I help residents of Cary Quadrangle with lost or stolen keys, adding money to their student ID cards, checking in and checking out of their old/new rooms, and many other things. I also do traditional office work such as filing, answering phones, writing reports, and delivering memos to other halls.

- Designed advertisements and posters promoting healthy lifestyles for potential clients.- Designed advertisements for various non-profit organizations in southern Indiana.- Compiled information about hospitals in Northern Indiana as potential future business.- Scanned paper documents for the company-wide switch to digital file keeping. - Worked in Microsoft Access to implement a new database for organizing client’s claims.- Worked with the Social Media Director to design backgrounds and advertisements for the company’s social media presence.Significant Accomplishments:One of the projects I headed was to design a template for a workplace wellness series of posters. These posters were created with the intent to have information updated as necessary to keep up with current and emerging trends in workplace wellness. They were also designed to be easily edited for any future employee working on them.

I mostly ran the morning show on KORN Country, but, from time to time, I would have a featured spot on Q-MIX. I also produced commercials, ran live remotes, and did daily weather reports.

I simply served the residents. I cleaned the tables after meals, and when appropriate I would socialize with the residents.

I would bring what supplies was needed to keep the concession stand running smoothly. I took scores, divided the umpires as needed, and settled disputes with unsportsmanlike fans. About mid May I would also pick up some responsibilities for the adult basketball, and volleyball leagues.
