I am a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Corporate Transactions Group in New York. I specialize in providing buy- and sell-side financial due diligence services, including complex multibillion-dollar carve-out divestitures and acquisitions and cross-border transactions.My focus includes developing a strong understanding of key drivers of the target company’s financial performance and position to identify and assess key deal issues and risks; quantification of items directly impacting transaction valuation (e.g., understanding normalized EBITDA, adequacy of working capital levels, debt and debt-like items); purchase agreement reviews and support; and carve-out transaction implications.With more than 15 years of experience, I am a seasoned transaction advisor and have led multiple projects for corporate and private equity clients across various industries, including consumer products, industrials, energy and technology, media and telecommunications. I have worked with clients in the U.S., the U.K. and Europe.Prior to joining A&M, I was with Ernst & Young’s Strategy and Transactions Group in New York and the Netherlands. Previously, I spent four years at E.ON in Rotterdam, a multinational energy company, where I was a Business Controller, responsible for financial planning and analysis.I earned a bachelor’s degree in business economics, finance and accounting from Avans University, a master’s degree in financial law from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a master’s degree in management from Nyenrode Business University. I am a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
