My responsibilities include duties typical of a Bakery Associate, helping with Deli when necessary. I have recently been appointed the Associate Safety Champion, which means leading the STAR Safety Team. As part of an initiative I created to strengthen the "Core Values" of our store, it is my role to act as a Safety Liaison for the Cultural Council, as well. In turn, they will assist with planning and execution of Safety Celebrations - historically a weak spot for STAR Safety Teams. I have experience as a team leader at the Harper's Point store. My duties include the following: plan and lead team meetings, delegate responsibilities, hold team members accountable, manage the store's safety website, inform store associates of safety topics, set department goals and organize celebrations when they are met.

Provided care and quality of life for the residents - predominantly in the Alzheimer's/Dementia wing, but also throughout the rest of the nursing and rehabilitation facility. At the end of July, 2010, I switched to part-time when a full-time opportunity at Kroger opened up. So I stayed part-time at Meadowbrook until the end of August. Then, in September of 2010, with the guidance of Vitas Hospice, I put my skills as an STNA to work for my Father-in-Law, who lived with us while suffering from Alzheimer's Disease, along with complications from CHF, diabetes, and kidney disease, until his passing in April, 2013.

Work with clients to maintain their inventory of linen supplies. Involved sales - door-to-door, cold calls, and suggestive sales to existing customers; order taking and writing; route making; driving long distances; and a quality, service attitude. My deliveries were mostly in and around Lexington, KY, though some were closer, while others were well beyond Lexington.

Worked with my hands, cutting, welding, and assembling pieces of vinyl and glass to make window sashes and frames. Sanded, stained, painted, and assembled doors and jambs. Packed all for delivery, and even worked with a crew on setup/teardown for conventions. Unfortunately, I was laid off when the economy crashed.

Delivered ice cream, bakery items, and supplies to Graeter's stores. Set-up, delivered to and maintained inventory for commercial accounts, such as Kroger, Montgomery Inn, various country clubs, etc. Filled orders, assisted in the packaging and distribution of bakery items, and the shipping of ice cream.

Deliver, set up, and train patients in their homes on use of Durable Medical Equipment (DME), and oxygen; delivered pharmaceuticals.
