As a skating instructor, I am responsible for the development of my student's skating abilities. Within a limited lesson time of 30 minutes and 10 sessions, I was able to plan out effective lesson plans that allowed my students to develop their fundamentals and build on the basic skills, allowing for them to progress onwards into the more difficult skills. Through effective communication in my lessons, I was able to provide a fun and rewarding class for my students.

As the Financial Accountant Co-op Student, the majority of my responsibilities revolved around recording and invoicing the transloading and freight forward bookings for Columbia Containers, and their subsidiary CWest Solutions. Additionally, I also was responsible for the preparation of bank reconciliations, weekly AR reports, and assisted in reconciling AP invoices.

My job at WPGA introduced my to the different facets of IT and information technology. I was able to utilize different software such as Microsoft Power BI, Excel, and Open Refine to model student data into clear interactive visualizations, allowing the leadership teams to gain insightful information on their enrollment. Additionally, I assisted in reformatted the school’s network connections by tracing and removing redundant cables, allowing for faster network connection and future troubleshoot. Finally, I also assisted in managing the school’s IT assets by tracking and recording the assets in an organized spreadsheet, providing the IT team with key information to reduce asset loss.

-Completed shipping orders by efficiently building pallets to be shipped to private and government liquor stores.-Increased worker productivity by demonstrating the proper block formation and patterns when building pallets, to new co-workers struggling to meet production expectations of 400 cases.-Exceeded the daily case pick requirement of 400, by learning the general shapes, sizes and locations of cases, to efficiently collect and complete orders.
