As a warehouse manager I’m responsible for the daily control of 12 persons. Hereby I’m responsible for the incoming goods and the order picking department. Besides that it is my job to apply my knowledge of ‘lean’ to improve all the processes and optimize the entire internal supply chain.

I’m participating within multiple different internal projects within ASCO Numatics. For some projects I’m the project leader and for other projects I assist as a project consultant.Some projects are focusing on improvement of the European service levels within ASCO. The other projects are about optimizing our internal product families. Besides that I’m assisting by the implementation of a new ERP system called Infor Syteline. This ERP system is implemented in ASCO Numatics in Scherpenzeel.

I’m also involved as consultant by Project 327. In this project we are implementing a new production lay-out and new working methods to improve the efficiency and reduce the internal throughput time.

I did my graduation assignment at ASCO Numatics. My goal was to reduce the internal throughput time for the biggest product line of this facility. After my investigation I wrote an implementation plan I which I described how they could reduce the internal throughput and improve the efficiency of this product line within ASCO.
