Job also required coordination with Operations teams to roll-out and monitor these server systems. Ported an existing Image Compression library (developed by Johnson-Grace Comany, later acquired by AOL) from Windows 16-bit and 32-bit operating systems to UNIX (Solaris, HP, SCO) to facilitate integration into AOL's "TurboWeb" web image delivery system. Evaluated performance of the various platforms and identifed bottlenecks in performance. Developed a prototype UNIX "AOL Radio" streaming audio server into a Beta-ready system that was successfully launched to broadcast recorded and live streaming programs to members. This also required the delivery of Windows and Mac client components for audio playback.Developed a prototype "AOL Phone" audio communication tool.

Maintained and developed new features for Radar signal processing analysis software. Ported entire application from DEC Operating System to SunOS/Solaris. Gradually ported legacy application from FORTRAN-77 to C language. Assisted Senior Scientists in running analysis on data and preparing summaries. Was responsible for office security procedures, maintaining secret documents and data, serving as liaison to the Defense Investigative Service.
