Darlington Upgrade Project

Associated with the South Road Infrastructure upgrade (Darlington), York Civil were contracted in a Design and Construct to relocate two major SA Water mains out of the alignment of the new underpass. Works associated with the realignment include;Installation of a MSCL trunk main consisting of DN1200 and DN950/DN700 pipelines through both off-road and on-road alignments including associated minor pipework;Bored tunnels beneath Flinders drive and Main South Road

Marion Road/Sturt Road Intersection

Intersection upgrade associated with the South Road Darlington Upgrade. Associated works included;Traffic Management including complete closures and resultant diversions to Marion RoadProfiling and reinstating approximately 5500 tonne of bitumenModifying lane layouts on intersection approaches;Installing new stormwater drainage and kerbing to suit modified layout;Upgrading street lighting and traffic signal infrastructure

Sundrop Farms - Port Augusta

Nominated Engineer for the construction of a 20 Hectare Tomato Farm approximately ten kilometres south of Port Augusta overseen by John Holland Group with the main civil works being self performed by York Civil. A large scale cut to fill operation will form the basis for the construction of four world class greenhouses, building facilities, multiple storage ponds and solar heliostat field. Multiple concrete works will also be performed across site, with the largest being a 620 cubic metre footing supporting a 105 m high solar power tower. Throughout the course of the project, responsibilties included on-site inspections and monitoring, quality assurance, supplier/subcontractor management, forecasting, programming and cost tracking.

Modifications To Pipeclay And Slaney'S Creek Weirs - Riverland

Sole Engineer on upgrade works to Pipeclay and Slaney's Creek Weirs located along the River Murray near Renmark, South Australia. Scope of works included construction of steel sheetpile cofferdams upstream of each regulator, apron repair works, construction of concrete fishways, abutment blocks and the installation of hydraulic gates to regulate flow through the weirs. Responsible for procurement, concrete subcontractor management, programming and quality assurance.

Chowilla Regulator, Modifications To Locks And Weirs 2,4,5 & 6 - Riverland, Sa

Responsible for formalising lot submissions, coordinating and attending pre-pour inspections for elements cast off-site, inspecting fabricated materials and liasing with suppliers/subcontractors on upcoming works.
