Pat Johnson is the Program Director for Offshore Wind at National Grid Ventures (NGV). As part of that role, Pat serves as Vice President and Deputy Project Director for Community Offshore Wind, a JV between RWE and NGV to develop offshore wind in the companies NY Bight lease area. Pat and the entire Community Offshore Wind team are focused on responsibly developing that lease for the benefit of all stakeholders to enable a clean, fair, and affordable energy future.Pat has over 10 years of experience in the energy sector. During his time with NGV, Pat has focused on developing clean energy infrastructure in the northeast US, including offshore wind, energy storage, and renewable-enabling transmission. Pat has led the development of multiple projects on behalf of NGV that have been submitted into RFPs. Pat is excited to be a leader in the ongoing transformation of our energy systems.Pat is a CFA Charterholder and has received a BA in conservation biology from Middlebury College, an MS in Wildlife Management from The Ohio State University, and an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
