As the Director Technology and Services for 5 Point Technology I am responsible for engineering solutions and building a team to support strategic initiatives for the consulting goals of our clients. I work with other business units to drive new business opportunities and encourage ongoing client relationships.

● Reported directly to the VP and tasked with driving projects, future goals and growth of an organization of over 1,000 employees, across 42 locations. ● Managed daily operations within the IT department, monitored daily processes, procedures and best practices. ● Configured and maintained IT infrastructure including VMWare on HP SimpliVity hyperconverged servers, Google G Suite, ​CISCO Meraki & SonicWall firewalls​, HPE SANs and other data centers. ● Collaborated with 50 internal divisions in the organization for planning and implementation of data projects. ● Improved the ability to simplify and allow access to various programs available to clients on company website. ● Redesigned the disaster recovery replication site to support a full failover of mission critical functions. ● Assisted in the design, maintenance and testing of technical solutions. ● Managed the enforcement of project deadlines and schedules. ● Found vulnerabilities in all critical areas and reduced exposure to the organization. ● Shared required skills with staff through formal and informal training sessions.

● Managed VMWare, EMC SAN, Commvault Backups and all servers, applications and infrastructure supporting the environment. ● Performed complex systems analysis to translate business requirements into technical solutions. ● Designed and implemented online ordering across all cafes while upgrading POS system as the lead online ordering project technician. ● Participated in investigating the root cause of technical issues and provided solution analysis. ● Ensured systems were compliant with all governmental and industry regulations (PCI). ● Facilitated the upgrade of VMWare environments from 4.1, 5.5, 6.1 and 6.5 to 6.7 and EMC VNX 5300 SAN ● Managed backups through Commvault 11 for backups to disk as well as tape management

● Focused on clients who required specialized technical consultation for design and solution implementation. ● Provided remote and onsite technical support to various job sites in cities across the United States. ● Designed and implemented DR/BC services for distributed offices and remote employees specializing in EMC Avamar, Data Protection Advisor (DPA) and EMC Mozy. ● Worked in conjunction with Con Edison ESCO in Manhattan. ● Partnered with Hexistor, Infusionsoft and EMC Mozy to provide a full range of managed services. ● Provided services for fifty-five locations mainly in Manhattan including: The Lincoln Center Rose Building; Cohen Brothers Realty; Fordham University; Trump SOHO; Iona College; The Ford Foundation; and The Salvation Army Headquarters among others.

● Was a member of the IT leadership team who decided the direction of all major IT decisions for the division. ● Developed, managed and grew the RDBS (Remote Data Backup Services) program that grossed over $1.3 million per year for the division. ● Provided expertise for technical projects, security policies and procedures for hotels across the globe. ● Engineered and implemented the centralized enterprise backups using EMC Avamar and Veritas NetBackup. ● Installed, configured and maintained EMC DPA to help manage, report and automate data. ● Was responsible for the integrity and support of 1000+ divisional servers. ● Worked to streamline and document restorative processes and mitigate monetary loss during any technical crisis. ● Implemented ScriptLogic to automate, implement and enforce enterprise-wide security policy. ● Issued technical procedures and requirements to over 300 IT Managers and local tape backups at each hotel. ● Maintained and developed disaster recovery standards, tests, and technologies. ● Remediation of PCI compliance and security emergencies.
