Strives to provide granular and real-time formulary coverage and benefit status for individual patients, providing unprecedented cost and therapeutic transparency - at the point of care. Company dissolved in 2019. Gave it a great run. Huge problem we chased down - we initially were too early to the party on cost transparency for medication, as many didn't see it as a pressing issue. By the time the market came around to understanding the importance - we didn't have the funds to compete with the incumbents that were already entrenched with target customers. Proud that we added to the conversation of getting this issue attention.

Primary functional responsibilities were to manage Vesta's capital procurement efforts and to coordinate communication with government funding agencies and investment groups.As Mgr of Public and Investment Affairs, I: re-wrote the business plan; authored executive summary and investor presentation material; created financial models and projections, along with detailed cost structures for new venture; and served as liaison between Vesta and government funding agencies and investment groups. Additionally, assisted with strategic growth and policy implementation. In this capacity: initiated in/out licensing opportunities for pharmaceutical products in international markets; initiated MBE certification in pursuit of government/corporate contracts; conducted a full internal audit of business and operational practices, complete with recommendations to improve efficiency and productivity; worked to identify relevant policy and regulatory issues that affected Vesta; and engaged Vesta strategic partners to further company’s interests and objectives.

Accepted into Cadwalader's Pre-Law School Program and earned first year scholarship. Part of a team that specialized in Distressed Debt Trading. Drafted all initial documentation under the oversight of senior attorneys, managing 80-100 trades at any given time. Also staffed on the closing of large billion dollar syndicated finance transactions - drafting initial ancillary documentation, managing files, and coordinating delivery of documents and closing with opposing counsel and the agent.
