Working with clients to fix issues, build custom solutions, & provide core system admin support as needed. Some days I am integrating web technologies, expanding clients' online presence to reach more customers. Other days I’m performing much needed server upgrades & migrations, bolstering small businesses with little or no IT department. Each day has provided new challenges & introduced me into new technologies to explore.

Denver Metropolitan Area

Joined Firstbank with a Systems Administration focusing on Linux webservers and application servers as well as helping build initial AWS implementations and automation. Managed a number of server types that had previously been manually configured and converted them to fully automate builds, updates, and tear down using AWS and Ansible. This allowed the team to focus less on maintenance and more on priority work.

Greater Denver Area

At Direwolf I’ve expanded my expertise to cover the technological needs of a growing development studio. I maintain the availability of hundreds of virtual & physical servers for thousands of concurrent users, develop CI pipelines for multiple projects, & administer all of the technology within the studio to help create critically acclaimed video games.

Colorado Springs, Colorado Area

As a SysOps engineer I focused on taking legacy applications from physical servers and virtualizing them using Amazon’s cloud service. For this role I set new standards for the cloud environment, met with various clients to build the requirements, developed support plans and metrics, and delivered integrated virtual stacks with the push of a button.

I design the static web server environments for State Farm's homepage leveraging cloud technologies & configuration management tools. I am responsible for the enabled features, performance tuning, capacity planning, failover, custom network configurations, content delivery networks, & documentation.

As a products team lead, I led a small team of analysts supporting multiple web server types in both shared & dedicated environments. I also was responsible for consulting with customers & communicating with other infrastructure teams on the platform.

As a web server analyst, I helped manage the UNIX/Linux web farm for internally & externally facing domains. Responsibilities included third level support for the web servers, maintaining infrastructure support relationships, & developing tools for common tasks for both the products team & content owners.
