Gender and Orientation Support Worker, creating support structures within the Mid West region for LGBTQI individuals and their families and friends through the medium of one to one support and befriending; delivery of workshops; creation and facilitation of peer support groups as well as increasing LGBTQI visibility within the mid west region.Participation in regional advisory groups to aid the development of LGBTQI structures and visibility. Facilitation of support groups such as; Parents of LGB individuals support group, Young adult LGBTQI support group and Adult support group, Parents of T Support group and Trans* support group. One to one support work for individuals who are coming to terms with their gender expression and sexual orientation. Facilitation of LGBTQI awareness workshops within an educational or professional setting, Providing professional development workshops for people working with LGBT people and their families in Clare, Limerick and Tipperary. Workshops aiding professional development of individuals as well as sexual health programs for all population groups.

Duties included:Maintenance and upkeep of a Toll Plaza, service buildings and tolling equipment.
