Responsible for the creation of new programs and tools to support the enablement of the NetApp Professional Services community. This community includes both internal as well as al Partner Professional Services. Designed, created and deployed the Professional Services Academy to enable and train PS resources on how to perform Installations and Rapid Deployment Services on NetApp Controllers and solutions. NetApp PS Academy aims to close the talent gap experienced by NetApp VARs and accelerates growth for NetApp partners. Through this program, partners can train existing or new employees who don’t have a NetApp technical background to become PSEs for storage and data center solutions. NetApp PSEs are cross-trained on industry-leading technologies such as virtualization integration.

Responsible for all Partner Systems Engineering (SE) enablement for the South East/Mid-Atlantic Region of NetApp (Fl, Ga., Tn., Ms., Al., Va/MD/DC, Pa, De and NJ). Work with Go–to partners to ensure their SE’s are current on all NetApp technologies, establish and maintain Technical, Sales and Executive relationships with my partner community.

C4 Architect supporting Headquarters Air National Guard (ANG) at Andrews Air Force Base. Implemented Windows 2003 SQL Cluster using MSCS and iSCSI connections to the Network Appliance 960 Filer to facilitate Database consolidation efforts mandated by Air Force requirements. Performed Active Directory migration assistance to C4 and CIO group at Andrews and JP1 locations to ensure proper planning and consideration was given to support the ANG mission. Developed and deployed standard Dell blade server (1655MC) configurations using MS Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition, 2003 Web Edition servers providing rapid deployment of a secure configuration. Currently evaluating multiple scenarios to enable ANG to become a “headless” server environment to perform true Continuity of Operations (COOP) for their server/data infrastructure.

Technical Director for the Systems and Server Directorate. Provided technical sales/proposal support for large government proposal efforts. Provided networking support for the U.S Capitol Police, Navy Public Works Command and internal corporate W2K/E2K network. Developed training plans, performed personnel evaluations for my directorate.

March 2001 – October 2002: Technical lead on the Microsoft Windows 2000 Quickstart for Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Agency for Children and Families (ACF) and Office of the Secretary (OS), this project was a first pass high level design of the Windows 2000 Active Directory. Currently in the project-planning and implementation phases of the upcoming Banyan VINES to Windows 2000/Exchange 5.5 migration projects. Mar 01- Apr 01: Designed and implemented a Windows 2000 Cluster solution for Underwriters Laboratories migration from Banyan VINES to Windows 2000. Team Lead on the Windows 2000 assessment for Accident Fund Company.Oct 2000 – Dec 2000: Onsite Principal Consultant for Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) Data Center, responsible for all NT servers and the in place upgrade of all regional NT 4 servers to Windows 2000. Developed an unattended upgrade script that remotely upgraded 50 servers in a one-week time frame. Providing technical leadership for 11 on-site consultants in the Network Operations Center.Aug 99 – Sept 2000: Onsite Principal Consultant for World Bank, responsibilities included implementing and designing a Microsoft Cluster Server solution to replace existing ENS for Vines server for Y2K and native Vines to NT. First phase of the migration consisted of the successfully migration of over 3,000 users and 500GB of data from ENS for Vines to three Microsoft Cluster servers for Y2K compatibility and reliability issues. Phase two of the migration the team successfully migrated over 10,000 users and approx. 1TB of data. Nov 1999: Installed and configured a successful prototype NT and Exchange 5.5 cluster for the US Army distance learning project in FT. Eustis, VA.

Supported Air National Guard Headquarters in the testing and evaluation of MSCS to replace the existing DEC Alpha environment. Implemented and designed a new Single Domain model Windows NT 4.0 using Exchange 5.5 to replace current LAN Manager network for WorldPartners Company. Incorporated disaster recovery plans using ArcServe ver 6.5 and Anti-Virus solutions using Innoculan. Co-lead the EDS Systems Administrator Mentor group to providing technical support to other EDS accounts.

As a member of the technical team successfully migrated over 800 users from a Banyan ver 6.x and IM III mail environment to NT ver 4.0 and Exchange 5.0 and Internet Information Server ver 3.0 for the Air National Guard
